More Information

We happily use the AT&T U-verse service in our house.

There is a button on the remote that takes you to something called the U-Bar where there are links to information points including weather.  You press the “Go Interactive” button which takes a few moments to load, then navigate to the weather button on the screen and this is what you see on the bottom.

This picture was taken in the early evening.  Not quite sure if that partly cloudy icon was for the day just finished or the next day.   Same question for the high of 84, if it was that day, then the high had long past, begging the question, is the low for tonight, or the next night?

Small points?  Maybe.  But look what happens when you “Use OK to see more”.

There is no competitive advantage to automated data.  If it is automated, your competitor across town, across the state, and across the country has it too.

We are in an interesting time where vendors are quickly rolling out fancy new apps that do all kinds of cool things.  I have a bunch of them on my phone…if I take away the nice presentation they all pretty much do the same thing…because they are automated.
