Google surprised the tech world this week with the announcement of Chromecast. It is a flash drive sized dongle that plugs into an HDMI port of a television and brings web video to the TV. You control the device with your phone, tablet or computer. Chromecast is similar to Apple TV and Roku, and costs a whopping $35.
