Twitter hasn’t made any money yet. Dorsey aims to change this.
The two types of operations that are making big money in the digital age are platforms and aggregators. Platforms (Twitter, Facebook) create no original content, they enable. Aggregators sift through the massive data set and try to serve you the best most relevant information. Facebook is both and Twitter looks to be heading in that direction.
Keep this in mind as you try to serve time sensitive information to your users…….on someone else’s platform.
